Excellent breakfast place (eggs, french toast, pancakes) which often has a queue at the entrance. Does lunch but I have never eaten any of the sandwiches or entrees as the breakfasts are just too yummy. Also does a number of bulk items for take-out. Thanks to a friend of a friend whose name has now, alas, been forgotten.

Mexican taqueria just like the ones in California. Cheap (most items under $5.50). Also does breakfasts (huevos rancheros, huevos revultos, huevos con chorizo) from 0900-1100. Burritos come with the works (guacamole, crema, etc.) included in the (low) price. Lots of side orders (white cheese, fried banana, yucca, refried beans, rice) piled on by request or at server's whim. Unclear if these actually are at an additional cost. Serves lengua and horchata. Claims to serve liucados but so far I've been unable to get them. English spotty but communication possible. Self-service (trays).
13 Elm St., Somerville, MA 02143
Salvadoran and Mexican. Tacos, huraraches, burritos, mulitas, tortas, and gorditas. Also does specialty plates and soups. Serves both lengua and (h)orchata (although they were out of the latter last time).
