Cribbed from a poll sent to me by a market research company.
This was one of the odder polls sent to me by one of the many polling outfits whose lists I'm on. I thought I'd share as a poll.

Poll #1073217 Someone got paid to come up with these questions.

(Note that I chose "Other" and then specified "George W. Bush and Dick Cheney". That answer probably got me on a watch list.)

(Edit: I forgot to include another text field for an answer for "Other person" in the second question. Feel free to use the comments for that, if you like.)

I was gonna say Lindsay & Paris, just to get them away from the media, but Bush & Cheney is an even better answer. :)

I went with Manhattan, less of a walk.

I was thinking Scottland myself, but anyplace less sunny and tropical than the choices offered will do!

I chose other in the who question, I want to be stranded with someone, doesn't matter who, as long as they are competant and not a wuss.

I chose Hawaii because it's highly unlikely that I wouldn't be able to signal civilization from there.

The idea of Tom Cruise and Dr. Phil amuses me because I think they'd kill each other...

I'm assuming they mean small remote islands, in which case you can put me down for Tristan de Cunha. (The "other" selection needs a fill-in box there.)

I picked Ellen and Ozzy because I'm SEEING them stranded, right? So it's probably some cheesy reality show, and they'd definitely be the most entertaining and resourceful out of that lot.

I like Hawaii as a place to be rescued from quickly (hell, the U.S. Coast Guard has to do something with their spare time, right?). Alas, "Spouse/S.O" is a bit of a ... *cough* aspirational pick? Yes, I think that's the word I was looking for. ;-) (Though granted, my spellchecker doesn't.)

I got myself on a worse list. I put Prez Bush and an evil sadist. Bali has numerous advantages, the largest of which being its close to a whole bunch of islands so you can visit and it has developed this amazing pool drain technology that allows its pools to be flat with the ground instead of having the drain low the pool a half a foot.

I like your Bush & Cheney answer, so I'll go for that.

My island choice is probably in Croatia. Maybe Hvar, just to pick
one I've been to *and* am sure has internet connectivity, but
really any of them would do fine.

OMG... Tom and Dr. Phil... *snicker*
can there be nerf bats?

I couldn't decide on an island...
UK? Bali? New Zealand? Singapore? Too many good options, I vote repeated shipwrecking.

Isla Margarita.

It's an island off the coast of Venezuela that my parents visited last February.
